About the Chair

Mathematical methods are an indispensable tool of the modern engineer. Their study students of technical universities is a major task of training courses of mathematics, that should provide an understanding of mathematical ideas and mastering the skills of their practical application in the process of professional engineer. It is important to also achieve a conscious understanding of the value and opportunities of the mathematical apparatus. These tasks were assigned to the Department of mathematical methods in engineering, Open in Ternopil national Ivan pul'uj Technical University 13 March 2003. It was headed by doctor of Phys.-math. Science in. Kriven′.

Науково-дослідні роботи виконуються за участю відомого вченого у механіці деформівного твердого тіла, заслуженого діяча освіти України, the author of a number of generally recognized manuals and scientific monographs doctor of Phys.-math. Sciences, Professor g. t.. Sulima. У науково-дослідній роботі брав участь відомий вчений в галузі механіки суцільних середовищ і інтегральних рівнянь, the author of a number of scientific monographs and specialist of the mathematical theory of cracks – doctor of Phys.-math. Кафедра забезпечує математичну підготовку бакалаврів факультетів: комп’ютерно-інформаційних систем і програмної інженерії (HYPHEN), прикладних інфрмаційних технологій та електроінженерії (ФПТ), економіки та менеджменту (ФЕМ), а також магістрів факультету ФІС.
Employees of the Department regularly improve their professional level, published in scientific periodicals, беруть участь у наукових конференціях.

The Department is open and ready for cooperation with the specialists, interested in the development and applications of mathematical methods.
